CATEGORIES OF FRESHERS
(1)               Those that expect things to happen by chance: - You ask them, WHY? And they reply, ‘MAYBE’. This set of people live on probability. You hear statements like; ‘After my NYSC, I would circulate my CV and if nothing is coming forth, I would go for a master’s degree.

(2)               Those that assume family and friends know what is best for them :- You hear statements like: ‘My dad said I should apply for biochemistry’ or ‘A friend told me that courses on human health is currently the highest in terms of income, so I chose this or that course.

(3)               Those that put college in control: - This group relies completely on their certificate. Take it away from them after they have acquired it and they become very close to nothing. But little did they know; that college would only limit them to two directions.
i.                    an employee
ii.                  a professional

(4)               Those that choose their own direction: - These are the best set of people. They know what is best for them; right from start. Though very few of them are on campus. They know what they wanted out of college and set out to achieving it. They have learnt to make college days the best investment of their life. They are thermostats not thermometers.

Revealed! THE WORLD AND YOU

THE QUESTION IS OFTEN ASKED, what should be the relationship of the followers of Christ with the world system? So many have tried to withdraw entirely from the systems due to the fear of being corrupted. Moving around town some months ago, on the streets of Ilorin, Kwara State, I was especially drawn to the various business enterprises around town, but most especially the big eateries. I do not really know the owners of these enterprises but one thing I’m sure of - they are patronized by Christians as well. CHRISTIANITY IS NOT SYNONYMOUS WITH INFERIORITY The mentality of a consumer is so rampant in the Christian faith – some of which sprang from the idea that since Jesus is coming soon, we need not invest in something that would be of lasting value. It is disheartening to hear these same teachings from most of the pulpits. This has made many believers limit themselves in what they can achieve. WALK IN LIGHT

Ephesians 5:8-14 8 - Apostle Paul was talking about two different dispensation and their realities. The old man is darkness, the new man is light...the default state of a new man is light, hence the walk as children of light 9 - the seed of God is sown in the new creation man at salvation. The fruit includes goodness, righteousness and truth 10 - the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit in us makes us know what is acceptable of the Lord. This requires a daily communion. Just the same way you know what dad likes and dislikes through daily interactions with him 11 - I told you earlier that light exposes darkness. This scripture has confirmed that. Have no fellowship/communion with the unfruitful works of darkness rather fellowship with the fruitful works of light 12 & 13 - light does not fear being exposed, only darkness does.
